However, there will be a big difference on its definition if we put some spiritual touch in it.. How do we view financial freedom in the holistic perspective?
FINANCIAL FREEDOM is the ability to live in a certain period of time without working due to enough assets that generate income to support a particular lifestyle.
It is NOT having a lot of money because money alone does not make a person rich. And I know a lot of people who are earning big on their job yet they are not financially free. They are suffering from debt. It is not having millions. I know some people who choose to live a simple lifestyle despite they are capable of earning millions. It is their choice not to acquire so much money due to contentment to the blessings that they have received.
To be financially free in the holistic perspective, is also to live in abundance according to one's personal choice of lifestyle. There are people who are living abundantly in a simple house. They are not suffering from debt and they can support the needs of their families. However, these people are financially literate who can handle their money wisely. They do not buy what they do not need.
Many people are suffering from financial life due to lack of knowledge when it comes to money. And they make a lot of excuses not to buy or study. If a person is living pay check to pay check, he must add another source of income in order to be freed from his routine.
